After a formal tender process, including an on-site proof of concept, the Local Police of Vilvoorde & Machelen have awarded the extension and upgrade of its CCTV network to Tein Telecom. Tein Telecom, the incumbent supplier, proposed the best combination of upgrade (to SightVision and H.264 for the existing camera infrastructure) & new items (adding March IP cams) and best listened to our customer’s needs for a seamless integration in the urban environment. This project guarantees us another five years as a prime supplier for CCTV, and in the near future mobile camera’s and ANPR technology, with this police force.
